“Building Sustainable Indigenous Communities of participatory governance, promoting agrarian development and environmental management in Northern Luzon”

DESCRIPTION OF THE CONVENIO
The CONVENIO is a 4 year project implemented in the 4 provinces of North Luzon. The aim is
to reduce climate vulnerability promoting socio-economic development with a strong
environmental and sustainable approach. The sectors of the project are:
a. Civil Society Strengthening,
b. Agriculture and livelihoods,
c. disaster risk reduction; and
d. environmental protection.
We aim to work with 1880 families improving their opportunities directly, 66 organizations
will be supported, and 9 local governments will partner Caritas in this effort to bring
prosperity, gender balance, human right enforcement and indigenous culture and rights
protection in Northern Luzon.
